On Jan. 10, 2016, the Northwest turned a fluffy white as a blanket of snow covered the ground, including the courtyard at Life Care Center of Post Falls, Idaho.
Aaron King, a certified nursing assistant, noticed that the fallen snow was untouched by footsteps or other activity. He seized the opportunity to bring cheer to a resident. After stopping at the kitchen for carrots and celery, and at central supply for a hat and gloves, he headed out to work on the snowman.
When the theme Flower Power was announced for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, local Life Care associates set out to win the Best Costume category for the second year in a row.
